Donations made to the Virginia Tech Black Alumni Society (VTBAS) are tax-deductible.
The EIN is 88-334-3647.
Donations made to the Virginia Tech Black Alumni Society do NOT go to Virginia Tech. An individual will NOT receive gift or recognition credit from the university.
A donation receipt will be emailed to you if you make an online donation. Please retain this for your individual tax purposes. A donation acknowledgement will be mailed if you mail your gift in.
A donation to VTBAS is going towards operating expenses and not to a scholarship unless otherwise specified.
