Jim Watkins, Class of 1971, received the 2022 Alumni Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the university, their communities, and their professions. The Alumni Distinguished Service Award is the highest honor bestowed on an alumnus/alumna by the Virginia Tech Alumni Association.
