Tech's Delta Sigma Theta Chapter Celebrates 50 Years

Congratulations to the Mu Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The chapter was chartered April 12, 1975 on the campus of Virginia Tech. It was the second Black greek-lettered sorority on campus. Alumni gathered with current students on campus for a weekend celebration April 11-13 that included a mixer, brunch and a service project. Mu Alpha also won the sorority category at the Overton R. Johnson Stepshow competition.
